Thomas Elwood Green age 75 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Saturday October 11, 2014 at Sunrise Rehab and Care in Nebo, NC. A native of Rutherford County he was a member of West Point Baptist Church and a retired textile employee having worked at Stonecutter Mills. Left to cherish his memories are three sisters: Peggy Helberson of Sun City West, AZ; Betty Upton of Mooresboro, NC and Florence Godfrey of Connelly Springs, NC; as well as a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Barzilla and Vinie Owens Green. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.May 2, 1939 - October 11, 201405/02/193910/11/2014
