Eugene Davis
Eugene Davis, 77, of Spindale, died Monday, July 27 at Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Mary Davis. He was retired from Stonecutter and also worked with used cars. Mr. Davis was a member of Spencer Baptist Church and the Spindale Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Jane Marlowe Davis of the home; two daughters, Dianne Conner of Rutherfordton, Barbara Callahan of Spindale, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 31 at 10 AM at Spencer Baptist Church with the Revs. Bruce Caldwell and Billy Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Masonic Rites. Visitation will be Thursday evening, July 30 from 6 until 8 PM at Crowe’s Mortuary.
