<p>Hartford</p><p>Hiram Sweet Ward Jr. 51, of Hartford passed away at home on Tuesday January 5, 2016.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Glens Falls, on July 24, 1964 he was the son of Hiram S. and Carol A. (Colvin) Ward Sr.</p><p><br></p><p>Hiram attended Hartford Central School graduating in the class of 1982. </p><p><br></p><p>He was employed with Encore paper in Glens Falls and then Wisconsin Tissue in Greenwich.</p><p><br></p><p>Hiram enjoyed reading books and watching movies. He loved spending time with his family and his cat, “Saya”. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his son, Dylan.</p><p><br></p><p>Hiram entered the United States Marine Corps. serving with the 7th Battalion Communications team.</p><p><br></p><p>Left to cherish his memory are his son, Dylan Z. Ward, of Gastonia, NC; his sisters, Kelly Brown and her fiancé, John E. Steele, of Hartford, Kathy Durkee and her husband, Kevin, of South Glens Falls; his nephews, Justin S. Brown, of Glens Falls, Seth R. Brown, of Hartford, Kyle E. Durkee and Ryan W. Durkee, of South Glens Falls; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>At Hiram’s request there will be no calling hours.</p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service and burial will be private and held at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery, with full military honors.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 123 Main St. Argyle, NY 12809.
