Madeline Lagalante (nee Cerulli) of Berkeley Heights, NJ passed away at Center for Hope Hospice, Scotch Plains, NJ on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the age of 88. The visitation will be held at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ on Thursday, Feb. 27th , from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Peace Church, 111 South St., New Providence, NJ on Friday, Feb. 28th at 10 AM followed by the entombment at St. Mary’s Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung. She was employed as a secretary at Martindale-Hubbell in New Providence for many years before her retirement. Madeline was a member of the Berkeley Heights Senior Citizens and the Rosary Society of Little Flower Church. She also loved spending warm summer days at the Berkeley Heights Community Pool. Madeline’s greatest joy came from her family. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Anthony F. Lagalante. Madeline is survived by her loving sons, Anthony Lagalante and his wife Tracy of Westchester, PA and David Lagalante of Branchburg, NJ and her cherished grandsons, Joshua, Zachary, Luke, and Aiden. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Madeline was pre-deceased by her brothers, James and Joseph Cerulli.
