In Loving Memory of Scottie McKinnon 1987 – 2014 The family announces with great sadness his sudden passing Friday, December 26, 2014 at the age of 26 years. Beloved son of Lynn (Festarini) and Peter Jones and Tim McKinnon and Debbie St. Louis. He will be forever remembered by his sister and best friend Lyndsay (Dave Field) McKinnon, his brother Jessie (Kat) Purdy, his sister Krissy (Bryan) Hope, his brother Jason Jones, his partner Sophie Desjardins and special sister Kayla Lauzon. Scottie is also survived by his Grandparents Clara McKinnon, and Gilbert and Doris Perrier. Also left to mourn are his nieces and nephews that were very special to him; Macyn, Kaleb, Kaden, Bryanna, Mackenzi, Prestyn and Alyvea as well as many aunts and uncles, cousins and the very best friends a guy could ask for. He was predeceased by his grandparents Anita and Butch Festarini, Wilbert McKinnon and Melissa Martin. Scottie lived life to the fullest and has a huge impact on everyone that he ever came into contact with. His family and friends meant the world to him. Scottie was passionate about his work and he put 110% into everything he did. He had many experiences and travelled the world to pursue his career as a diamond driller. Scottie had the biggest sense of humour; there was nothing like a good joke or a good laugh. Family and Friends may call at the Access Transit Hall (Union Street, Iroquois Falls) on Thursday, January 1st, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Parish with the Reverend Father Léo Rancourt officiating. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Children’s Make a Wish Canada(cheques only please) and would be appreciated by the family.
