Helen Seal

Helen M. Seal, 82, of Winchester, died Friday, July 9, 2010 at her home. She was born June 17, 1928 in Martinsburg, WV; the daughter of James and Rosie Smith Pappas. She retired from the dietary department at Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Seal married Elmer W. Seal on June 23, 1953 in Winchester. Along with her husband, she is survived by three sons, Ted Allen Seal of Glen Dale, AZ, Terry W. Seal of Winchester and Scott E. Seal of Clear Brook, VA; one daughter, Debbie K. Draper of Winchester; one sister, Shirley Campbell of Winchester; one half sister, Patricia Mauck of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A brother, Charles J. Pappas, preceded her in death. A funeral service will be Monday, July 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony A. Wadsworth officiating. Entombment will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Justin Day, Ryan Seal, Terry Seal, Jr., John Galloway, Mike Wright and Josh Day.
