Le Mars, Iowa - Patrick T. Weber, 45, of Le Mars, Iowa, formerly of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the Abbey of Le Mars following a lengthy illness. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present to greet friends from 5-8 p.m. Patrick Thomas Weber was born on August 30, 1963 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Wayne and Beverly (Bainbridge) Weber. He was baptized and confirmed at First United Methodist Church in Le Mars, Iowa. Patrick attended Le Mars Community Schools, graduating from high school in 1982. Following his education, Pat began his career in the scrap metal industry in Le Mars. He would later move to Eau Claire, Wisconsin and continue his work with scrap metal. Pat was a charter member of the “Sons of the American Legion”, Wasmer Post #241 in Le Mars. In his spare time he enjoyed building all types of models. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Beverly and Wayne Weber of Le Mars, IA; a brother Jeff Weber of Omaha, NE; a sister Desiree Jacob of Dallas, TX; niece and nephew Kyra and Taj Jacob of Dallas, TX; aunts and uncles Tom and Deanne Kass of Pocahontas, IA, Clarice Bainbridge of Kingsley, IA, Bob and Janet Coughenour of El Paso, TX; and numerous cousins. Pat was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Thomas and Lucille Bainbridge; paternal grandparents Ernest and Lila Weber; and uncles Beryl Bainbridge and Donald Bainbridge, and Harold and Lavonne Buss.
