Rosemary Meier

Ms. Rosemary Puleo-Meier, who resided in Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away on February 20, 2020. Rosemary was born in Newark, NJ to August and Josephine Puleo (Messina) on October 1, 1943. She attended Verona High School, graduating Class of 1961, and studied at Fairleigh Dickenson University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She worked as a technical writer for several years before retiring in 1993. Rosemary was recently married to her long-time partner, Jed Maffenbier, who preceded her in death along with her parents and her nephew, Paul Skrzypek. Rosemary is survived by her sister Edith Skrzypek and her brothers Charles Puleo, Michael Puleo and Andy Puleo. She also leaves behind 9 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews. As per Rosemary's wishes, there will be no service for her passing. She will be buried at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ, with her parents. The Puleo Family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of her friends (especially Sean, Diane and Marsha) as will as the many doctors, nurses and caregivers for your continued support over the years. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
