Sr. Miriam Roberta Kiernan SC (1922-2015) died at Schervier Nursing Center, Bronx, on July 27, 2015. She entered the Sisters of Charity of New York on September 8, 1944. Sr. Roberta ministered at St. John the Evangelist, White Plains; St. Raymond, Bronx; St. Agatha Home, Nanuet; St. Ignatius Loyola, Blessed Sacrament, and Cathedral H.S., Manhattan. She is survived by her sisters, Irene Daniels and Joan Rothman, nieces Maria Boyd and Jean Rothman, nephews Michael and Steven Rothman and the Sisters of Charity with whom she has shared life for 71 years.
