Carol Turner

Blacksburg -- Carol Jean (Winky) Turner, of 126 Killian Street, passed away Saturday, May 30th, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Kings Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Carolyn Sprouse Turner. Ms. Turner is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Turner Willis and Harriett Turner Reynolds, both of Blacksburg. In addition to her parents, Ms. Turner was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Turner of Blacksburg, and three sisters, Cindy Turner Dover, Cathy Westmoreland and Annette Turner, all of Blacksburg. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015, at 2:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. Entombment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
