Terri Ann Wills

FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, MI – Terri Ann Wills, age 63, of Forsyth Township, entered eternal life Thursday, February 20, 2020, at her home, in the loving care of her family and caregivers of UP Home Health and Hospice. Born December 9, 1956, in Marquette, a daughter of Harold J. and Agnes M. (Thompson) Murphy, Terri was raised in Skandia and graduated from Gwinn High School, Class of 1975. In 1973, Terri was united in marriage to William Wills and the couple set about establishing a home and raising a family. Terri was employed for a time at the service counter of Super One Foods. She possessed a great sense of humor, contagious smile and laugh. She and Bill loved side by side riding and camping. Her grandchildren were very important to her and she helped in raising them. Terri is survived by her husband of 47 years, William Wills, Sr; her two children, William (Laurie) Wills, Jr, of Gwinn and Mindy Le (Brian) Moyle of Gwinn; daughter-in-law, Kelly Wills; two grandchildren, Azlyn Anne and Hunter William; two step-grandchildren, Addyson Marie and Taryn Jo; four sisters, Jean (Rick) Shaw, Beth (Dan) Virta, Casey (Mark) Murphy, and Laurie (Fred) Beauchamp; brother-in-law, Marvin (Eka) Anderson, Jr; sister-in-law, Tammy (Pete) Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Murphy. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services on Monday, March 2, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Although no formal service, this will be a time for the informal sharing of memories, conversation, and food. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of UP Health System Oncology for their compassionate and professional care, and for the many kindnesses they extended to the family.
