Kevin Labs

Kevin R. Labs, a lifelong resident of Plumsteadville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 18, 2014. He was 53. Kevin was the husband of Sherry (Bunch) Labs. Born in Doylestown, Kevin was a son of Janice Labs and Robert Labs both of Plumsteadville. Kevin was a 1978 graduate of Central Bucks High School West. Kevin was employed with East Coast Hoist and was a member of the Iron Workers Union, Local 401. He was also a certified elevator inspector. In his free time, Kevin enjoyed racing and restoring classic cars. He loved to make people laugh and spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his wife and parents, Kevin is survived by 3 daughters, Shelby, Allison and Meredith Labs, 2 brothers, Scott (Sandy) and Brooke (Lisa) and a sister Melissa Labs (Mike McCans). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Relatives and friends are invited to Kevin’s funeral service 11:00 am Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 East Swamp Road Doylestown. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 pm Wednesday, May 21, at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church Roads, Plumsteadville and 9-10:45 am Thursday at the church. Interment will be held privately at the Plumsteadville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Kevin’s name to Doylestown United Methodist Church at the above address.
