Helen Meyn Wilcox

Helen Meyn Wilcox passed away on October 30, 2015 in Tucson, AZ at the age of 74, as a result of pancreatic cancer. Helen was born in Chicago to the late Paul and Marjorie Meyn on November 26, 1940. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Albion College in 1962. On June 9, 1962 she married John G. Wilcox and they began a life together that spanned four continents and more than five decades. Helen was a registered dietician and worked at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York City. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was an avid tennis player and hiker. She loved Tucson. Helen is survived by her husband, John Wilcox; sons, Jim, Dave and Mark; their wives, Courtney, Christine and Katie; brothers, Norman and John; their wives, Barbara and Mindy and grandchildren, Natalie, Cassidy, and Tia. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Mountain Vista Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 3601 W. Cromwell Drive, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to the Casa de la Luz Foundation (https://www.casafoundation.org/ways-to-give/donations). Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
