Arnold Uvino

Arnold S. Uvino, Sr., 65, beloved husband of Beatrice L. Carriero Uvino, died peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Born in Bronx, New York on November 23, 1950, he was the son of the late John and Dolores (Formuto) Uvino. Mr. Uvino was a self-employed painter and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his granddaughters. Besides his wife of 45 years, he is survived by a daughter, Lori-Ann Uvino, a son, Arnold S. Uvino, Jr and his wife Jennifer, two granddaughters, Isabella and Clara Uvino and many relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Avenue in Meriden. Everyone is asked to gather directly at the church. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. The John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Avenue, Meriden CT 06450.
