Cleeda Polster, 101 years of age, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Cleeda was born in 1915 in Azusa, California, and moved to Colorado Springs in 1917, where she lived the remainder of her life. She married her late husband, James Gordon, in 1937. She later married Henry Polster, who died in 1975. Cleeda is survived by her son, Jim Gordon and his wife, Pamela; 2 granddaughters, Julie and Katie; a grandson, Jim, and a great-granddaughter, Rylee. Cleeda was a seamstress and worked until she was 85 years old. Her great joys in life were her family, her church, her work, and the lifetime of friends they brought her. She also loved Pikes Peak. For 101 years, Cleeda enjoyed a healthy life, surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly.Obituary
