Brenda Kay Cletcher, 63, of Oak Ridge, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home. She was born July 11, 1953 in Lancaster, Ohio. Brenda retired from ORNL Federal Credit Union where she was a teller. She was a member of Moore's Gap United Methodist Church in Heiskell. Brenda loved to cook and enjoyed watching cooking shows to inspire her creativity. She was an extremely kind, grateful and gracious person. She was preceded in death by her father, Hobart Humphrey. She is survived by husband of six years, Joseph "Joe" W. Cletcher II; son, Travis W. Worline and wife Sasha of Moody, AL; mother, Donna Ann Humphrey of Oliver Springs; mother-in-law, Marjorie M. Cletcher of Tullahoma; bother, Gregory A. Humphrey of Loudon County; sister, Angela "Angie" S. Buck of Oak Ridge; sister-in-law, Elaine Shillito and husband Mark W. of Tullahoma; nephews, Jeremy A. Humphrey and wife Venitta of Andersonville, Shane Wiseman and wife Beth of Antioch; Scott C. Shillito and Todd M. Shillito and wife Jennifer, all of Fairborn, OH; nieces, Theresa F. Wiseman of Oak Ridge, Amy E. Tenney of Hendersonville, and Nicole M. Humphrey of Oliver Springs, and several great nieces and nephews and extended family. Brenda was looking forward to the birth of her twin grandchildren, due in November. She is also survived by Sampson, her 14 yr. old faithful and loyal canine companion. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 5 – 7pm at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 7pm with Rev. John Justice officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Golconda, Illinois. The family asks that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
