POLITYKA, Efrozina “Rozi”, (nee Seneta) – Born Tershiv, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine, January 14, 1924. Passed away January 13, 2016 a few hours short of her 92nd birthday, just in time to celebrate with her loving husband Alexander (2008). Loving wife of Oleksij “Alexander”. Dearly loved mother of Gregory Polityka and his wife Natalka and Marusia Laschuk and her husband Mark. Predeceased by husband Oleksij (2008) and son Michael Polityka (1987). Very proud and loving Baba of Halyna, Julia, Oksana and Mila. Rozi was active in the Ukrainian Community and a long standing member of The League of Ukrainian Canadian Women and of The Holy Protection Sisterhood of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Friends may attend visitation at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Sunday January 17, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. with Panachyda (Prayers) at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church (31 Bloor St. E.) on Monday January 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., Internment St. Volodymyr Cemetary, Oakville. Memorial Donations to ‘Friends of Ukrainian Defense Forces’ or ‘Guardian Angels Ukraine’. Heaven gained a new angel and we are so fortunate to have been blessed with such an amazing woman.
