Ina Faye Smith, 83, of Atkins died Thursday, October 24, 2013 in Russellville. She was born in Hunter, AR the daughter of James Nathan and Molly Heard Melvin. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Smith; son, Al Smith; son-in-law Ricky Roper; and daughter-in-law Brucene Jumper. She is survived by her son, Greg Smith of DesArc; daughter, Brenda (Tom) Gibson of Atkins; 9 grandchildren; Amanda (Al) Stewart, Brandi (Stephen) Davis, Candi Smith, Jason Smith, Melissa Smith, Tammie Moore, Kim Gavin, Ricky (Kristen) Roper Jr., Craig (Mary Jane) Roper; 12 great-grandchildren; Taylor and Tyler Slatton, Cody (Erin) Davis, Hunter Davis, Brian and Christina Moore, Dakota Smith, Alisa Gavin, Coalton, Kaylie, Allison and Erika Roper; one great-great-grandson, Jack Davis. Visitation is Saturday, October 26, at Atkins First Baptist Church from 2:00-3:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow beginning at 3:00 PM, arrangements by Lemley Funeral Service. Interment will be in Hunter, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers memorials sent to First Baptist Church of Atkins or St. Jude’s Research Hospital Memphis, TN.
