Tamara Tolstow

Tamara Tolstow, 85, a long-time resident of Mays Landing, NJ went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.

Tamara was born on February 20, 1930 in the Ukraine. She learned the art of beauty culture in Germany and brought her skill to the United States, where she owned her own beauty salon in Philadelphia, PA.
While living in Philadelphia, she met her husband of 65 years, Russell Tolstow, Sr.

She loved good food, socializing with family and friends, and had a smile that could light up a room.
Tamara is survived by her loving husband Russell Tolstow, Sr., her son and daughter-in –law Russell and Kathleen Tolstow, her daughters Romona Tolstow and long-time partner Alfred Maroun, Margaret and Edward Merlock, and Donna Puhalski who was like a daughter.

She is loved and remembered by her grandchildren Megan and husband Matthew Juniewicz, and Kelsey Tolstow, and many loving friends.

Friends and family are welcome to join us on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at The Mother of God Church, 115 Hudson Street, Mays Landing, NJ where a viewing will be held from 10am to 11am followed by services at 11am.
