Theresa Axelson

Theresa Maria Axelson (nee: Meyers-Stokes), 59, of Egg Harbor Twp., went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2011. Theresa was born December 23, 1951, in West Philadelphia and came to reside in Northfield, NJ. She is survived by her husband Arthur Axelson, two children Tammy Doernbach (Ernest), and Raymond Stokes (Christine), her step-sons Art and Jason Axelson, 11 grandchildren; Ernest, Jr., and Thomas Doernbach, Raymond and Jonathan Stokes, and Cole, Joseph, Victoria, Nash, Jason, Jr., Zachary, and Noah Axelson, her 4 siblings; Collette Grant, Robin Fritz, Mary Carty, and Michael Myers, her cousin Lillian Conner, along with her nieces, nephews, and close friends. Let’s not forget all those who adopted her to be part of their family. The Lord called upon Theresa at an early age but her smile, love and compassion will never be forgotten, Love to All. Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her memory on Saturday, March 5, 2011, from 2-4pm, at the Boakes Funeral Home, Mays Landing, where services will be held at 4pm.
