<p>Sadie Marie Fields Skeens, 68, of Cleveland, Va., passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Born in Dante, Va., on December 5, 1947, she was the daughter of the late O.C. and Mary Ruth Fields. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Skeens, and brothers, Jack Fields, Billy Joe Fields, Bus Fields, and Harold Fields.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her children, Regina Gilbert of Cleveland, Barbara Jacobs of Castlewood, Va. and Peewee Sutherland of Gravel Lick, Va.; grandchildren, Rachel Maxfield, Hannah Gilbert, Haley Gilbert, Cody Jacobs, Levi Jacobs, Jessica Smith, Cassie Sutherland, Montana Sutherland and Heath Sutherland; great-grandchildren, Delaney Maxfield and Hadley Sutherland; siblings, Hester Bradley of St. Paul, Va., Nora Lee Bise (Pooch) of Castlewood, Katherine Bellemy (Lowell) of St. Paul, Linda Abbott (Eddie) of Bristol, Va., Donald Fields (Delores) of Hanging Rock, Va., Worley Fields of Dante, and Paul Fields (Phyllis) of Castlewood; special caregiver, Beth Wallace and close friend, Candida Singleton.</p><p><br></p><p>A private service will be held at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p> Share memories and condolences with the Skeens family at www.owensfuneralservice.com.</p><p><br></p><p>Owens Funeral Service and Cremation Services, 7 Tate Street, Lebanon, Va., is in charge of arrangements.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
