Richard “Logan” Shearer, age 26, of East Waterford, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Born February 21, 1991, in East Waterford, PA, he was the son of Richard T. Shearer and Betty J. Miller Shearer. A 2010 graduate of Fannett – Metal High School, Logan went on to work in construction, where he had most recently started his own construction business. He was formerly employed by Lobar, Inc. An avid outdoorsman, Logan enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, mudding, and mowing the lawn. In addition to his parents, Logan is survived by his fiancé, Miranda Shatzer; three children, Richard “Brennan”, Colton Lee, and Emma Raeh Shearer; two siblings, Eric F. Struchen (fiancé Lauren Hammond) of Shippensburg, PA and Megan L. Shearer of Willow Hill, PA; his paternal grandmother, Nancy L. Shearer Naylor; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Leon Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 6 – 9 PM in the Agett – Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA. Services and interment will be private.
