Nicolina Ann Cozzi - Carso

Nicolina Cozzi-Carso Of Arlington Heights Nicolina Cozzi-Carso was born on December 3, 1963 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Joseph and Karen (nee Cistaro) Cozzi. She passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Mrs. Carso was an eighth-grade teacher for Holy Family Catholic Academy in Inverness over the last 10 years and was a former teacher with the Chicago Public School System. She enjoyed singing with the Edge of Town Sweet Adeline's Barbershop group and attending mission trips with St. James Youth Ministry. Nikki was an avid runner and Cross- Country coach at Holy Family Catholic Academy. Nikki was always surrounded by loving friends and cherished those relationships throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, Gregory J. Carso; her children, Jack G. (Corinne) Carso, Camille L. Carso, and Vincent J. Carso; her father, Joseph Cozzi; her sister Gina M. (Steve) Noble and her brother, J. James (Lisa) Cozzi. Nikki was preceded in death by her mother. Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers 9:15 am, Monday, February 17, 2020 from the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois for Mass at 10:00 am. Entombment follows at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, we would like to start a scholarship to support students at St. James school in need of tuition assistance, in honor of Nikki.
