Joanne Walter Palmer Wurm, 86, of Litchfield Park, Arizona, formerly Bartlett, passed away Friday, February 14. Beloved wife of the late Milton C. Wurm and the late Daniel Richard Palmer; loving mother of Daniel (Lori) Palmer, Douglas (Susie) Palmer, Robert (Stephanie) Wilder, and the late Pamela (Richard) Wurm; proud grandmother of Abbi (Dan) Lantz, Brett (Danielle Naccarato) Palmer, Lisa (Austin Schoen) Palmer, and Savannah and Janice Palmer, and Stacey (Andrew) Praninskas and Scott (Stephanie) Wurm, and Christine (Nathan) Binsfeld, Heather (Brandon) Oye, and Kevin (Cara Bunch) WIlder; dear great grandmother of Olivia, Aiden, Evelyn, Ethan, Emily, Kate, Natalie, Halley, and Vivian; fond sister of Helen and the late Andy, Jim, and Joe Walter. Joanne was an avid gardener who was a proud Kool Aid employee in the 50’s while her first husband served in the Korean War. She was among some of the first residents of newly established Streamwood, IL in 1958. She was active at St. John the Evangelist Church and school in the 60’s. She loved both of her husbands and was blessed to spend nearly 25 years with Daniel and then with Milton. Visitation Thursday, February 27 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with service at 7:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Burial private.
