Sabrina M. Best Billerica, Massachusetts Obituary

Sabrina M. Best

Sabrina M. Best, age 25, died unexpectedly Thursday. It is impossible to capture a person in an obituary, and especially someone whose loses their young life to drug addiction. Drug addiction crept into Sabrina's life at a young age and she fought back with everything she had. Sabrina was fearless and resilient. In a world, that at times, could be cruel; a world that brought her to dark places, it could never destroy her ability to have compassion for others in need. She would be there for anyone who needed help. Even though, she could not always feel the love everyone had for her, she gave love so easily. Sabrina's love and commitment for her family was immeasurable. As addiction continued to stalk her life, she used that love to fight back. Her life with her siblings (Kyla, Jimmy, Tommy, Paige, Kelsey, and Alex) brought her so much happiness. She was the first love of her mother, Heather Cooper's life and she adored her father James Best. She welcomed both of her step parents (Mark Cooper and Amy Best) into her life with nothing but love. Sabrina had a very special bond with her grandmother, Sue Bruno who she would chat with for hours with. She cherished every moment she could get with her cousins. She was our greatest gift and we cherished her. Now her battle is over and God has ended her suffering. He has brought her home. Sabrina was born at Winchester Hospital, September 28, 1994. She was the beloved daughter of Heather A. (Foley) Cooper and her husband Mark of Billerica and James E. Best and his wife Amy of Andover. Sabrina attended Billerica Public Schools while growing up in Billerica. She spent four years living in Palm Desert, CA as a young adult where she made many lifelong friends. She was employed as an esthetician for Frosted Salon in Quincy Besides her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Tommy, Jimmy and Kyla Best all of Billerica, Alex and Kelsey Comire of Andover and Paige Polizzi of NJ; as well as her grandparents, Mike and Sue Bruno, Michael and Ruth Foley, Pam Watt and Neil and Peggy Best and many friends. Visiting hours will be held Monday, February 17, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, MA from 3 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 18, at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd. Billerica at 10 a.m. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palm Desert Recovery Center 74350 Alessandro Drive, Suite 1-A Palm Desert, CA 92260.
