Frances Denton

Frances Day Denton, “Fran, Frannie, Neena”, a 50-year resident of Edgewater/Deale, MD, died on February 13, 2020 at the Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood, MD. Born June 20, 1955 in Washington, DC, she graduated from Southern High School. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Denton; her parents, Guy Paul Day and Marie Day Ridgley; and her stepfather, James Robert Ridgely. She is survived by three sons, Brian, Jason, and Steven Denton; five siblings, Paul Day, James Ridgley, Helen Lewis, Nancy Kirby, and Janet Eubanks; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122.
