RORABAUGH - Alvin R., 87, of Nanty Glo, went to be with the Lord Feb. 13, 2020. Born Feb. 19, 1932 in Clearfield, son of the late Thomas and Bertha Rorabaugh. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Jane; daughter in law, Cindy Rorabaugh; great great grandson, Ayden; and four brothers. Last surviving member of his immediate family. Survived by son, Ray Rorabaugh; granddaughters, Jennifer Rorabaugh, Denise (Kevin) Sanders and Angie (Justin Stevens) Rorabaugh; great grandchildren, Justin, Alexis, Karlee and Cody; great great grandsons, Tyson and Jayce; and several nieces and nephews. Member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Nanty Glo. Alvin enjoyed going to classic car shows and family get-togethers. He was an avid hunter. Alvin will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Pastor Russell Havener, officiating. Interment, Edwards Memorial Cemetery, Belsano. In lieu of flowers, donation in Alvin’s memory may be made to C & M.A. Church, Nanty Glo.
