Annie Bell Lyles Canupp

ANNIE BELL CANUPP Westminster – Annie Bell Lyles Canupp, 92, wife of the late Robert Coleman Canupp, passed away, February 14, 2020, at Prisma Health-Cottingham House surrounded by her loving family. Born in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Walter Samuel and Beulah Emma Cox Lyles. Mrs. Canupp was a member of Welcome Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. She retired from Dunlop Sports and also spent many years at Beacon Manufacturing. Mrs. Canupp treasured her family and loved spending time with them. She was very special to her family and helped them until her last days. Mrs. Canupp had a special bond with great- granddaughter, Adisyn Belle, who she babysat from the time she was 3 months old, and played an important role in her life. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Charles and Debbie Canupp of Westminster; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Larry Saylors of Anderson; four grandchildren, Lynn Canupp Lyles (Mark), Julie Saylors Martin (Jeff), Wade Canupp (Dena), and Laura Saylors (Jeremy). She also has four special great-grandchildren, Adisyn Belle Lyles, Coleman Charles Canupp, Rachel Elizabeth Martin and Peyton Robert Martin. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Lyles; brothers, Willie Lyles, Bernice Lyles, and Edward Lyles. A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 - 3 pm, prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made in Mrs. Canupp’s memory to Welcome Baptist Church, 411 Retreat Street, Westminster, SC 29693.
