Drace, Kenneth Melvin, age 99, of Paramus, on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Born in Paterson, Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Paterson prior to moving to the NJ Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus in 2015. Kenneth served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theater of Operations. Kenneth was awarded The Purple Heart Medal and in 2019 the New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He worked as a Mechanical Draftsman at Bogue Electric in Paterson for most of his life. Kenneth was the beloved husband of the late Marion Harriet Houghton (2013). Loving father of Robert Drace and his wife Betty Ortiz-Drace of Kinnelon, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Caitlyn, Robert, and Miranda Drace. At the request of the family, all services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NJ Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus.
