<p>Larry Morris Harris, age 77,of Springdale, passed on Thursday February 13th, 2020 at Springdale’s Northwest Medical Center. </p><p>Larry is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jeri Jean, 3 biological children: Dana Bennett of Fort Meyers, Florida, Rhonda Hyman of Pea Ridge, and Russell Harris of Springdale. He also leaves behind ten adopted children: Shirley Scroggins Gage (deceased), D’Arcy Dunn of Springdale, Colin Andreas of Los Angeles, California, Taryn Andreas of San Francisco, California, Gardner Andreas of Conway, Arkansas, Randy Harris of Greenbriar, Arkansas, Shaylan Dillon of Springdale, Coleman Harris of Collierville, Tennessee, Andrea Harris of Tyler Texas, Kelsey Harris Dyke of Tyler, Texas, and a stepson, John Rosson who lives in Suzhou, China. He was a wonderful grandfather to 23 grandchildren. </p><p>Larry was an eight-year veteran of the United States air Force, serving in Sacramento California, Riverside California, Office of Special Investigations (OSI), Washington D.C., and in Saigon Vietnam, where he earned the Air Force Commendation Medal of Meritorious Service. While he grew up in Kerman, California, he was born in Shaw, Arkansas and was one of five siblings: William Ray Harris, Mildred Ramer (deceased), Mary Whisenhunt, and Calvin Harris. Larry’s parents were Wilbur and Ilene Harris, originally from Nashville, Arkansas. </p><p>Larry spent 38 years working in the construction materials sales industry, mostly in Northwest Arkansas. In 1994, he was awarded Salesmen of the Year at Meeks Building Center, Springdale, Arkansas. </p><p>Larry was a dedicated Christian who loved his Lord, his family, and the Preaching of the Word. He had made his church home at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, Springdale, Arkansas.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held from 10:00am - 11:00 am Monday February 17th at Westfield Chapel 3236 West Huntsville Avenue, Springdale, with funeral services to follow at 11AM. </p><p>Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Gravette, Arkansas. </p><p>Online condolences www.WestfieldChapel.com</p>
