Cappello, Carmela Passed away peacefully at Shelburne Residence on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Antonino. Loving mother of Gerry (the late Ruth) and Joe (Barbara). Devoted grandmother of Theresa (Jeremy), Melissa (Robert), Mary (Jeremy), Jennifer and Anthony (Marissa) and great-grandmother of Samantha, Courtney, Jason, Zachary, Riley, Brianna, Mikayla and Mila. Dear sister of Katherine Palumbo and sister-in-law of Colegero Cappello. Predeceased by her sister Philipina Abasso, her brother Philip Internicola and sisters-in-law Giovannina, Vitina Mirlocca and Maria Monticello. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, Shelburne on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. A private family service will be held. Spring interment at Shelburne Cemetery.
