Joe Justice

Mr. Joe Justice, Jr., age 72, of Rosedale, Virginia passed away Tuesday (April 18, 2017) in a Lebanon, Virginia hospital. Born August 12, 1944 in Roseann, Virginia, he was a son of the late Joe H. and Kizzy Sparks Justus. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a 1962 graduate of Hurley High School. He had served his country in the United States Army for eight years and was a member of the Fireside Bowling League. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ruth Steele and Nancy Hurley; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Steele and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Clova Lowe. Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Loretta Lowe Justice of the home; two daughters, Angela Justice and companion, Tony O’Connor of Bristol, Tennessee and Strana Beavers and husband, Randy of Cleveland, Virginia; sister, Peggy Steele and husband, Bobby of Abingdon, Virginia; brother-in-law, Randy Hurley of Hurley, Virginia; four grandchildren, Anastasia, Breann, Kira and Bryant; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. He will be missed by everyone who knew him, especially his bowling pals. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia. Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by VFW Post #9864 of Lebanon, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 5 PM Thursday. Online condolences may be made at www.honakerfuneralhome.net.
