Mary Ann Rolfe

Rolfe, Mary Ann. - age 87, passed peacefully into eternal life at home, with her family beside her. Per Mary’s wishes, Mass of Resurrection will be held 11AM Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at SS. Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of Mass. A luncheon will follow at the church hall. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Set Free Movement of Clio - education, awareness, and restoration for victims of human trafficking. Born July 1932 to Clyde and Grace Sias, she graduated St.Mary’s Flint in 1950 and married Paul Rolfe that same year. She was a member of SS. Charles & Helena Catholic Church and was a businesswoman in the Flint area for many years. Mary was passionate about her work and volunteerism to provide affordable housing for senior’s. Survived by her: 4 daughters: Angela Rolfe of Florida, Lesa Hammer, Fran Whitman (Rick), and Joyce Miller (Bob), all of Clio; 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and her beloved nieces Bonnie (Sam), Joyce (Ron), Linda (Denny), and Sue (Chuck). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Bouchard; Grandson, Gary Bouchard; Sisters: Dorothy and Nancy; Brother, Gale. Aunt Mary was a blessing in our lives. She was kind and caring and loved her family . She will forever remain in my heart and be deeply missed. Sincerest sympathy to her family left to carry on her legacy.
