Roy Lee Prisock
Roy Lee Prisock, 81, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was born on September 19, 1938, to the late James Everett and Ruby Lee Prisock in Winston County, MS. He married the love of his life, Mrs. Hazel Louise Prisock, on October 26, 1959. Roy retired after 40 years from Ingalls Shipbuilding. Upon retirement, he spent another 20 years in his machine shop in the back yard. Along with his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Hazel Louise Prisock, his brother, Bobby Lamar Prisock, and his brother-in-law, Tommy Childress. He is survived by his son, James (Cyndi) Prisock; grandchildren, Heather (Kaely) Prisock, James (Amelia) Prisock, and Hayley (Alex) Patrick; great-grandchildren, Warren Prisock, Cooper Tynes, Rylee Patrick, and Baby Patrick; sisters, Sue Childress and Catherine (Jimmy) Ingram; brothers-in-law, Jimmie (Gloria) Johnson and W.T. (Peggy) Johnson; along with numerous other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. James V. Miller and Bro. Richard Crews. Entombment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula, MS with Josh Steiner, Jimmy Hammond, Paul Smith, Paul Graham, Dwayne Graham, and Alex Patrick serving as pallbearers. Bobby Barnes will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
