Paul Crutchfield

Mr. Paul Douglas Crutchfield, age 60, of Jewell Ridge, Virginia, passed away Monday (January 9, 2017) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born December 31, 1956 in Bluefield, West Virginia, he was a son of late Emogene Crutchfield DeHart. A honorable and respectable man, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of the Jewell Ridge Volunteer Fire Department for twenty years. His family loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert DeHart. Survivors include his loving wife of forty-two years, Rita Faye Kinder Crutchfield of the home; two daughters, Deidra McGlothlin and husband, Daniel of Honaker and Savannah Crutchfield and Thomas Cox of Clarksburg, West Virginia; three granddaughters, Chloe Lawson, Ava McGlothlin, and Myra Cox; aunt and uncle, Susie and Darnell Miller. The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home, Honaker, Virginia at 6:00 PM Wednesday, where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Rev. Rick Lawson officiating.
