Thomas Burkhart
Thomas S. Burkhart died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at his home in Peoria, AZ at the age of 58. He was born on February 13, 1958 in Anniston, AL. Tom graduated from Thunderbird High School in 1976 and University of Phoenix with a degree in Business Administration. He was married in 1978 to his high school sweetheart, Mary Lou Burkhart (Hammond). Banking was his life’s career but the most important thing to him was his family and his love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. His pastimes included being an avid photographer and actively involved in his church. He is preceded in death by his father, Jim (Marlin) Burkhart and mother, Betty (Zettie) Burkhart. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou, his son Steven Burkhart and wife Rynata, his daughter Danielle Cooley and husband Dennis, all of Peoria, AZ. Also he is survived by his brother Jim Burkhart and wife Linda of Sun City West, AZ, his sister Irene Stewart and husband Dale of Phoenix, his sister Marlene Neal and husband Bill of Jackson, TN, sister-in-law Sandy Lintner and husband Larry, sister-in-law Kay Beachy and husband Dan, three nephews- Scott Beachy and wife Nicole, Jack Stewart and Curtis Neal, one niece- Jamie Stewart and one great niece- Allyson Beachy. Tom’s life will be celebrated on Sunday, February 26th at 3pm at Pure Heart Church, 14240 N. 43rd Ave. Glendale, AZ, 85306.February 13, 1958 - February 2, 201702/13/195802/02/2017
