Gisele Marie Jeanne (Pare) Almeida, 89 of Pawtucket died Tuesday at Summit Commons in Providence. She was the wife of August Almeida and they would have been married for 67 years in August. Born in Central Falls she was the daughter of the late Aristide and Marie Ange (Lambert) Pare. She lived most of her life in Pawtucket. Gisele was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Pawtucket and a Eucharistic Minister. Prior to her retirement in 1989 she was employed as a molder for Hasbro of Pawtucket for 26 years. Beside her husband Gisele is survived by two daughters, Elaine Kelaghan of East Greenwich and Karen Walsh of Cumberland; a brother, Daniel Pare of the Villages, Florida; five grandchildren, Lauren Beviliquia and her husband Dylan of Warwick, Ryan Kelaghan of Boston, Sean Kelaghan of New York, Kyle Kelaghan of Providence, Alex Walsh of Cumberland and great grandson Jameson from Warwick and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles and Ferdinand Pare. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. from the CHEETHAM FUNERAL HOME, 1012 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. Visitation Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket.
