Linda Lawanna Upton, 67, of Warner, OK, was born March 8, 1950 at Wilburton, OK, the daughter of James and Vivian (Center) Collins and passed away peacefully Monday, September 11, 2017, at her home in Warner. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally and doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was her passion in life. Pastimes included painting, reading, crafts, and daily writing in her journal. She loved staying at the lake and camping out along with playing with the children outdoors. Linda was a selfless person, who was always more concerned about the needs of others than herself. Survivors include her children, Billy Williams and Karen of Winnsboro, LA, Susan Copeland of Choctaw, Kelly Taylor and Joseph of Warner, Josh Upton and Shelly of Keefeton; grandchildren, Colton Williams, John T. Williams, Cassidy Williams, Megan Williams, Tyler Copeland, Hannah Kemper, Jacob Coffman, Jaci Upton, Grace Upton, Addison Upton; seven great-grandsons, Connor, Lucas, Khayden, Dylan, Lane, John, and Jackie; siblings, Roy Collins and Shirley of McAlester, Jimmy Glen Collins of Warner, Ellen “Shug” Smith of Warner, and Carol Morris of Lawton; former husband, Gary Upton of Keefeton. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Glenda Davis; sister, Mayzell White; and brother, Harold Collins.
