Effie Lorean Wolf - GLBFH Obituary

Fisher- Effie Lorean Wolf, 86, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born July 22, 1933 in Antoine to the late Charlie and Lela Jackson Gentry. She had worked in the lunchroom for twenty-eight years and as a bus driver for the Weiner School for over thirty-six years. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg. She is survived by her husband, Robert Wolf; three sons, Ray Wolf (Linda) of Jonesboro, Otto Wolf (Patricia) of Lake Village and Cleamon Wolf of Newport; a daughter-in-law, Betty Wolf of Pleasanton, Texas; grandchildren, Hunter Wolf of Newport, Jared Wolf (Kayla) of Lowell and Cortney Wolf Turner (Justin) of Jonesboro; great-grandchildren, Gage Wolf, Lawson Wolf and Channing Turner. She was also preceded in death by an infant sister and son, Cecil Wolf. A visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg. A celebration of her life will be 12:00 noon Thursday at the church with Rev. Joel Krogen officiating. Interment will follow at Waldenburg Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Hunter Wolf, Jared Wolf, Dean Phillip Jr., Travis Phillips, Jim Hesse and Phil Hesse and as honorary pallbearers, Todd Bartholomew, Gary Zirbel, Jeff Zirbel, Pastor Jeff Junyor, Tommy Jones, Farrell Jones and Brian Mook. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
