Catherine Evans

Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center at Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, November 12, 2017, Mrs. Catherine Mary Evans, age 79 years of St. Jacques. Leaving to mourn her loving family: sons, Gary Evans (Maureen) at New Brunswick, Freeman Evans at Nova Scotia and Roland Evans (Mary) at Nova Scotia; daughters, Alfreda (Herman Lawrence) at Ontario and Karen (Jerry Croft) at Nova Scotia; grandchildren, Natasha Savoury, Jeremy Croft and Daniel Evans; great grandchild, Zachary Savoury; step great grandchild, Sierra; brother, James Hynes at Grand Falls-Windsor; daughter in law, Susan at Liverpool, N.S; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her loving husband, Roland; sons, Donald and Roger; grandsons, Jason Lawrence and Shane Evans. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church at St. Jacques with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, St. Jacques.
