Frances Miller

Frances G. Miller, 79, of Mays Landing, NJ, passed away on March 27th, 2017 surrounded by loving family. She was born March 9th, 1938 in Atlantic City, NJ to Frances and Peter Gallaccio. She graduated from St. Agnes School of Nursing, Philadelphia PA, with a nursing degree in 1957. She worked long term as a registered nurse in the recovery room at Shore Memorial Hospital, where she met her husband, Thomas Miller, CRNA who worked in anesthesia. They were married in September 7th, 1963 and enjoyed 53 years of marriage. She was an active member of Saint Katherine Drexel. She enjoyed classical music, bird watching and occasional trips to the Atlantic City casinos. Her greatest passion was her family and especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her twin brother Peter in 1959, her brother Nicholas in 2016, as well as her parents Frances and Peter Gallaccio. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas, her son Tom Jr. (Janet), her daughter Christine (Clayton). She was also a loving grandmother to Francesca, Peter, William, Zackary, Caitlin, Veronica, Cynthia, Kevin, Clay Jr and great grandchild Abigail. A gathering to celebrate her life and memory will be held at the Church of St. Katherine Drexel, 6077 West Jersey Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 from 9am to 11am Saturday, April 1, 2017, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Church of St. Katherine Drexel.
