Lenora Jernigan Martin

Funeral services honoring the life of Lenora Jernigan Horton Martin will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 11:00 AM in the Anacoco United Pentecostal Church, 4637 Main St., Anacoco, LA, 71403. Burial will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Anacoco, LA under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. Mrs. Martin was born on July 20, 1939, in Leesville, LA, to Earl and Norma Lee Dixson Jernigan and passed away on April 15, 2016, in DeRidder, LA. She was a life resident of Leesville/Anacoco area having attended and graduated from Anacoco "Orange" High School. She was a retired school bus driver for the Leesville School district and was a homemaker. She loved to sew, make blankets, drink coffee with her family and friends, and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the pentecostal faith and was a member of East Leesville Pentecostal Church. Preceding her in death was her first husband, Alvie R. Horton, daughters: Karen, Carolyn and Melissa, and a brother, Larry Jernigan.
