William Joshua Cade Obituary

William Joshua Cade, age 19, Unicoi, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a life-long resident of Unicoi County and is the son of William “Bill” Cade and Stephanie Cade. Joshua was a 2019 graduate of Unicoi County High School where he was a proud band member. He was a previous member of the Boy Scouts of America. Joshua loved spending time with all the pets at the local animal shelters. He was employed at Walmart. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George Marvin and Mary Katherine Cade; aunt, Anita Foshie. Those left behind to cherish Joshua’s memory include: his father, William “Bill” Cade; his mother, Stephanie Cade (Jimmy Smith); one sister, Shelby Cade; maternal grandparents: Donna and Joseph Wood, Charles Cox and Janet Murphy; aunts and uncles: Charlie Cox, Marica and Gary Draper, Mike Foshie; first cousins: Tim and Danielle Draper, Justin and Kristy Draper, Marcus Draper, Jamie Britt, several second and third cousins; his girlfriend, Jessica Berry; his special dogs, Ruby and Cooper; numerous other family members and friends also survive. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Danny Hughes will officiate at the 7:00 PM funeral service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Committal service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday February 12, 2020 in the Evergreen Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the Unicoi funeral home by 12:15 PM Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
