Pauline Sims

Pauline Hazel Frady Sims, age 90, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on Sunday January 21st peacefully at her home. Polly was the daughter of the late William Harvey Frady and Minnie Shytles Frady, and wife of 66 years to the late Edwin Sims. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Diane Hamrick and her husband Chuck; grandson Warren and wife Jenny; granddaughter Lacey; great-grandson Mason; sister-in-laws Margie Frady; and Evelyn Abrams. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings Clarence Frady, Ralph Frady, Rachel Earley, and Grace Lattimore. In her spare time, Polly loved needle work, was a wonderful cook and a member at Southern Baptist Church of Rutherfordton. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday January the 24th 2018 at Southern Baptist Church, 140 Church St. Rutherfordton NC 28139, with the Reverend John Perry and Reverend Bill Abrams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial is private. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Southern Baptist Church Christian Life Center.
