Born December 29, 1953, in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Straley and Nancy Elizabeth (Boyd) Jackson. She was a longtime resident of Buchanan County and was of the Latter Day Saints faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Clarice worked at the Rainbow restaurant and volunteered with a local rescue squad. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Dillon, her son, Jack Fitzwater Jr.; 2-Sisters: Jonas Ann Jackson Heath and Thelma Catherine Jackson Horton; 5-Brothers: Billie Jackson, Charlie Jackson, Lester Jackson, Darrell Jackson and Herman Jackson; 1-Niece: Peppermint Patty Heath; 2-Nephews: Matthew John Jackson and Earl Wayne Jackson; 1-Great Niece: Angela Leann Burgess. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Bonita Boyle; 3-Brothers: Earl Willie Jackson, Garden Creek, VA, Louis Jackson, Russell County, VA, and Sherman Perry Jackson, Garden Creek, VA; 2-Sisters: Ocie Shirley Jackson, Vansant, VA and Barbara Jackson; she is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregiver Jenny Hopkins, the staff of Charleston Medical Center and Hospice of Boone County WV. Funeral Services for CLARICE DILLON will be conducted Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Mike Rife, Jim Edd Belcher and Eddie Lindsay officiating. Burial to follow in the Boyd Cemetery, Big Fox, VA. Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M. Active Pallbearers will be Ocie Jackson, Charlie Wolford, Henry Wolford, Austin Wolford, Sherman Jackson, Earl Jackson, Louis Jackson, Elmer Jackson, Keith Boyd, Delbert Burgess and Jeremy Harris.
