Glenda Sue Lane, of Shiloh, passed away February 7, 2020 in Groesbeck, Texas at the age of 63. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2020 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Charles Self, Lonnie Lewis, Vance Rose, Dillan Terry, John Jones and Jerry Zavala will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Hugh Forman. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Glenda was born October 22, 1956 in Mexico, Missouri to Frank and Marie Love McCully. She grew up in Mexico, Missouri and graduated from North Calloway High School. On April 1, 1976, Glenda married her lifelong partner, Grover L. “Sonny” Lane, in Las Vegas, Nevada; they were blessed with two sons, Shaun and Bobby. She was forced to retire from Walmart, due to health reasons, after 19 years of service Glenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was the highlight of her life. She recently taught her three grandchildren how to make “Dream Catchers”. She collected Barbie dolls, in addition to many other things, and enjoyed doing art and crafts occasionally. Glenda also loved her pets, Cookie, Dixie, Zach, Rusty and Dino, who were not the usual dogs and/or cats; she was open to making most any animal, reptile or whatever her pet. She had a friendly, outgoing personality and always found pleasure in the simple things in life. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank McCully Glenda is survived by her mother, Marie McCully; her loving husband of almost 44 years, Grover “Sonny” Lane of Shiloh; sons, Shaun Lane and Bobby Lane; loved as a daughter, Christy Self; grandchildren, Braden, Cameron and Kylie Lane; sisters, Pam Board, Lori McCully and Patti McCully Carey; brothers, Frank McCully, Jr. and Jeffrey McCully; sister-in-law, Carolyn Lewis; a number of nieces and nephews; and her pets, Cookie, Dixie, Zach, Rusty and Dino.
