Barbara Bostock

Barbara J. (Reynolds) Bostock, 85, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday July 4, 2017 at the Suffield House. She was the beloved wife of the late Clinton W. Bostock. Born on Aug. 19, 1931 in Springfield, MA to the late Mark and Ethel (Geer) Reynolds. She had resided in Enfield for the past 12 years and in Stafford Springs and Suffield before that. Barbara retired from Hamilton Standard/Sundstrand after several years of service and owned & operated her own ceramic shop. An avid artist she also enjoyed doing crafts, camping and gardening, but her greatest joy was spending time with family. Barbara is survived by her five children; Nancy Kent & husband Richard, George Bostock & wife Debbie, Blane Bostock & wife Jean all of Florida, Kathy Cazalet of Enfield and Julie Abare & Steve Caldwell of Stafford Springs, her twelve beloved grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Marjorie Ashford of FL, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by four sisters and one brother. Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Monday July 10, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Burial will then take place in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or Parkinson’s Foundation.
