Roberta Lee Blust

BLUST, ROBERTA LEE, of Clarkston, went home to be with her Lord, February 6, 2020, surrounded by her family, at 84 years of age. Born on January 30, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter to the late William and Clarice Woodbridge. She was united in married to Kenneth Hull in 1956, he later passed in 1991, she then married Glen Blust in 1994 and he too passed away in 2015. She is the beloved mother of Andrew (Camie) Hull, Michael Hull, Patrick Hull and the late Matthew Hull; loving step mother of Michael (Holly) Blust, Roger Blust, John Blust (Janet Kozicki), Jeffery (Angela) Blust, Therese (Patrick) Tierney, Glen Blust and the late Margaret Dean - Blust; dearest sister of Joan Woodbridge-Staples-Poelvoorde. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Roberta was a 1954 graduate of Ladywood High School, after high school she went on to receive her Associates Degree in social work from Oakland Community College. She was a charter member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Waterford where she was a member of over 60 years. She was a social worker for Oakland County working with the developmentally disabled for 20 years. In her free time Roberta loved to swim, work with stained glass, where she made many beautiful pieces giving away many as gifts. She enjoyed golf and tutoring children by helping them read when she was wintering in Tucson, Arizona. She will be truly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
