Cook, Paul Ross Died peacefully on Wednesday December 20, 2017 surrounded by his family at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia at the age of 62. Paul of Stayner, formerly of Toronto, beloved husband of Debbie (nee Henry) for 39 years. Loving father of Brandon, Brittany (Umberto Mariani) and Hayley (Tucker Axton-Nore). Cherished “Pops” to his granddaughter Sadie. Dear brother of John (Sue), Lynda Lyons (Julian) and Debbie Johnston. Paul is also survived by his beloved mother-in-law Evelyn Henry and his nieces and nephews. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Sunday January 7, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #344, 1395 Lakeshore Boulevard West, Toronto. His family are grateful to the nurses of the dialysis unit at the General & Marine Hospital in Collingwood for their care and friendship, the staff in ICU at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Paul in his final hours was greatly appreciated and to Dr. Chan, Paul’s respirologist for his care and kindness during Paul’s long journey.
