Hilda Butler

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 81st year. The Lord called her home on Friday August 18, 2017. Loving wife for 40 years of the late Rowland Butler. Dear mother of Evelyn (Dan), Suzanne (David) and Michelle. Cherished Nana of David (Gabrielle), Dwight (Brittany), Cassius and Caleb. Loving Great-Nana of Bennett, Aubrey and Paisley. Loving sister of Evelyn (Lloyd), Sonya (Richard), Elizabeth (Glen), Daniel (Pearl), Robert, Carol (Earl) and Brian (Cathy). Predeceased by her parents John and Emma Gabona and her brother Harvey. Family and friends may visit Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa) Thursday August 24 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9 pm. A service to celebrate Hilda’s life with be held in the Armstrong Funeral Home Chapel on Friday August 25 at 11am. Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
